This page explains what information is collected when someone shops on Hot Goth Clothes, and why.

What is collected

Placing an order collects a name, an email address, and a shipping address. Payment details are entered directly with Stripe and are never stored on servers operated by Hot Goth Clothes or Leavitt & Company. Standard technical information, such as IP address, is logged automatically for security and fraud prevention, the same as almost any website.

Browsing this storefront without buying anything does not create an account or a persistent profile — see “No accounts, today” below.

Why it is collected

An email address and shipping address are used to confirm, fulfil, and ship an order, and to send receipts and shipping updates. Payment details are used by Stripe to charge the order. Order records are kept for as long as required for accounting, tax, and fraud-prevention purposes.

Who it is shared with

Printful, the fulfilment partner for this storefront, receives the shipping address and the artwork file needed to print and ship an order — there is no way to produce a physical item without that. Stripe, the payment processor, receives payment details directly; Hot Goth Clothes and Leavitt & Company do not see a full card number.

Information collected here is not sold, and it is not shared for advertising.

No accounts, today

Hot Goth Clothes does not currently offer shopper accounts. Every purchase is a guest checkout, and the confirmation email sent after an order is what allows its status to be looked up later. If that changes, this policy will be updated to describe what an account stores and how to close one.

Cookies

This storefront does not use advertising or analytics cookies. A session cookie keeps a signed-in creator or admin signed in, which has nothing to do with shopping here as a guest. Checkout itself is hosted by Stripe and is governed by Stripe’s own privacy practices once a shopper reaches it.
